Las construcciones tradicionales de piedra tienen, por norma general, vigas de madera, cerchas de madera con cubierta de teja o pizarra. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>La <strong>estructura de madera<\/strong> si est\u00e1 en buenas condiciones se puede mantener.  Hay que tener en cuenta aspectos como la seguridad estructural (con sus distintos matices: deformaci\u00f3n, resistencia al fuego, durabilidad&#8230; )<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>En el momento que se puede cepillar y limpiar de posibles par\u00e1sitos superficiales situados en la albura (capa exterior del tronco). Mantener una secci\u00f3n apropiada de cara a la resistencia mec\u00e1nica podemos obtener resultados est\u00e9ticos inmejorables, de cara al mantenimiento de una est\u00e9tica tradicional.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Caso de estudio<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>En este caso muestro unas im\u00e1genes de la rehabilitaci\u00f3n de una vivienda tradicional en Cedeira. El esfuerzo al que va a ser sometido el nuevo forjado, teniendo en cuenta que la planta baja se desea di\u00e1fana, sin apoyos puntuales intermedios, surge la necesidad de ampliar la secci\u00f3n de las vigas existentes. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Una vez retiradas se pudo ver el estado en el que se encontraban las cabezas de las vigas. Esto da una pista de los movimientos que pueden surgir en el forjado en el momento que la vivienda entre en carga de nuevo por el nuevo uso. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Se puede ver la importancia de ventilar la madera, de protegerla, sobre todo en aquellos muros en los que no se impide directamente la entrada de agua, como son los muros de piedra natural, donde la fachada es permeable al vapor de agua y parcialmente permeable a la lluvia (sec\u00e1ndose y moj\u00e1ndose c\u00edclicamente) funcionando bien debido a su espesor. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><a href=\"https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/teoriadeconstruccion.net\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/02\/rehabilitacion-cubierta-madera-viga.jpg?ssl=1\"><img data-recalc-dims=\"1\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"854\" height=\"645\" src=\"https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/teoriadeconstruccion.net\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/02\/rehabilitacion-cubierta-madera-viga.jpg?resize=854%2C645&#038;ssl=1\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-70511\" srcset=\"https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/teoriadeconstruccion.net\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/02\/rehabilitacion-cubierta-madera-viga.jpg?w=854&amp;ssl=1 854w, https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/teoriadeconstruccion.net\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/02\/rehabilitacion-cubierta-madera-viga.jpg?resize=300%2C227&amp;ssl=1 300w, https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/teoriadeconstruccion.net\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/02\/rehabilitacion-cubierta-madera-viga.jpg?resize=768%2C580&amp;ssl=1 768w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 854px) 100vw, 854px\" \/><\/a><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>En cuanto al resto de la viga, se puede comprobar su estado en la siguiente imagen. Las vigas de casta\u00f1o de 25-28 cm, despu\u00e9s de 30 a\u00f1os manten\u00edan gran parte de la albura libre de xil\u00f3fagos.
