Uno de los avances m\u00e1s destacados fue la capacidad de endurecimiento superficial del hormig\u00f3n, ya llevado a cabo en los a\u00f1os 30, publicado en la Revista del Instituto Americano del Hormig\u00f3n.<\/p>\n<p>Esta t\u00e9cnica part\u00eda de la caracterizaci\u00f3n f\u00edsica convencional, comparando distintos esfuerzos que debe de resistir el pavimento, abrasi\u00f3n, resistencia a productos qu\u00edmicos, impacto&#8230;<\/p>\n<p>La elecci\u00f3n del acabado ha pasado a ser fundamentalmente est\u00e9tica gracias a estos avances, que permitieron desarrollar <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/bobeton.es\/pavimentos-industriales\/\">pavimentos industriales<\/a><\/strong> perfectamente v\u00e1lidos ante la resistencia al deslizamiento, frecuencia de cargas y descargas, penetraci\u00f3n de agua.<\/p>\n<p>Este salto fue posible gracias al desarrollo de endurecedores superficiales, que se incorporan monol\u00edticamente o como una capa separada despu\u00e9s de que la base haya endurecido, en la que generalmente se ejecuta una capa superior con mortero u hormig\u00f3n de mejor calidad, que se extiende sobre la losa fresca y que posteriormente se pule.<\/p>\n<p>En este mortero superior los productos m\u00e1s usados son arenas naturales seleccionadas, arenas sint\u00e9ticas y productos met\u00e1licos, \u00bfpor qu\u00e9? Pues porque garantizan una buena resistencia a impacto.<\/p>\n<p><strong>\u00bfCual es el siguiente salto?<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>La especializaci\u00f3n y el aumento de requerimientos de los distintos locales exigen unos pavimentos pensados para el futuro. Estas \u00absalas limpias\u00bb son vitales en el mundo de la electr\u00f3nica, automoci\u00f3n, farmacia, cosm\u00e9tica&#8230; por lo que se exige una m\u00e1xima higiene.<\/p>\n<p>Los pavimentos deben de evitar la adhesi\u00f3n de la suciedad y la aparici\u00f3n de microfisuras o grietas.<\/p>\n<p><strong>\u00bfQu\u00e9 opciones hay en los acabados sobre hormig\u00f3n?<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Pavimentos de epoxi<\/p>\n<p>Generalmente se combina con s\u00edlices de distintos tama\u00f1os (arenas) que se aplican mediante espolvoreo, aumentando la resistencia a la resbaladicidad. Aumenta la resistencia, ya que est\u00e1 pensado para soportar altas cargas de trabajo. Funciona bien en caso de derrames l\u00edquidos, tanto derivados de aceites como disoluciones en agua. La superficie tiene un alto nivel de facilidad de limpieza.<\/p>\n<p>Pavimentos de poliuretano<\/p>\n<p>Tiene una gran resistencia en los entornos exteriores y una gran resistencia a la abrasi\u00f3n. Son los pavimentos que se suelen ver en los aparcamientos exteriores, aunque se utilizan tambi\u00e9n en c\u00e1maras de congelaci\u00f3n, ya que resiste choques t\u00e9rmicos entre -40 y +130\u00baC. A diferencia del pavimento epoxi, tiene una buena resistencia a los rayos ultravioleta, por lo que el sol no lo deteriora.<\/p>\n<p>Pavimentos de poliuretano-cemento<\/p>\n<p>Esta combinaci\u00f3n trae la soluci\u00f3n a problemas del pavimento industrial en la industria qu\u00edmica y alimentaria que son quiz\u00e1s las industrias m\u00e1s exigentes. Presentan una gran resistencia ante sustancias qu\u00edmicas, elementos mec\u00e1nicos y choques t\u00e9rmicos.
