En su momento fue un gran desaf\u00edo, al igual que lo estaban siendo muchos puentes para ferrocarril, solo que, con este dise\u00f1o discutido, Eiffel dio en el clavo. Pero adem\u00e1s de eso la historia nos ha tra\u00eddo muchos ejemplos, de entre los cuales destaco m\u00e1s abajo una selecci\u00f3n de aquellos que creo que m\u00e1s aportaron en su contexto.<\/p>\n<p>Hoy en d\u00eda no supone\u00a0 un reto el construir una estructura como esta,\u00a0porque la calderer\u00eda ha dejado de ser un trabajo muy exigente f\u00edsicamente, y lo ha hecho gracias a m\u00e1s avances tecnol\u00f3gicos. <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.caldemeca.com\/\">La calderer\u00eda industrial<\/a> <\/strong>puede simplificar el proceso constructivo de las nuevas estructuras que, por su forma, tienen\u00a0muchos retos por delante.<\/p>\n<p>Adem\u00e1s de grandes estructuras complejas, la calderer\u00eda ha sido base de la industria y de los avances urbanos, sobre todo a nivel de la fabricaci\u00f3n de maquinaria. As\u00ed, herramientas como las cribas de gravas, las tuneladoras, molinos, dep\u00f3sitos, etc son desarrolladas y construidas por empresas como<a href=\"https:\/\/www.caldemeca.com\/#nuestros-productos\"> Caldemeca<\/a>, cada vez m\u00e1s industrializadas y capacitadas para desarrollar nuevas formas y productos.<\/p>\n<p>Hist\u00f3ricamente hemos visto estructuras que han atra\u00eddo la innovaci\u00f3n en la forma y en la construcci\u00f3n y haremos un repaso de los puntos clave de esta particular historia, con muchos proyectos dispuestos a continuarla. Los puntos clave han sido los desarrollos de las uniones, partiendo en un principio del remachado y el clinchado, basadas en la adaptaci\u00f3n del montaje desde las estructuras de madera, hasta nuevas t\u00e9cnicas de soldadura y de adhesivos; adem\u00e1s de una mejora en las aleaciones.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Viaducto de Conchi (inaugurado 1888)<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><img data-recalc-dims=\"1\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-68622\" src=\"https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/teoriadeconstruccion.net\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/11\/Teoria-de-construccion-Conchi_Viaduct_1_small.jpg?resize=800%2C530\" alt=\"\" width=\"800\" height=\"530\" srcset=\"https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/teoriadeconstruccion.net\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/11\/Teoria-de-construccion-Conchi_Viaduct_1_small.jpg?w=800&amp;ssl=1 800w, https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/teoriadeconstruccion.net\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/11\/Teoria-de-construccion-Conchi_Viaduct_1_small.jpg?resize=768%2C509&amp;ssl=1 768w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 800px) 100vw, 800px\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Inicialmente constru\u00eddo para el ferrocarril, hasta 1914 en el que se ha limitado al uso peatonal y de canalizaciones, en pleno desierto de Chile. Actualmente est\u00e1 bastante deteriorado y con poco mantenimiento. Elevado un a\u00f1o antes que la Torre Eiffel, utilizando roblonado como sistema de uni\u00f3n.\u00a0Claro ejemplo de la est\u00e9tica de la ingenier\u00eda, que no intentaba acogerse a un estilo can\u00f3nico o interpetarlo.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Fair Store Building (1891)<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><img data-recalc-dims=\"1\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-68624\" src=\"https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/teoriadeconstruccion.net\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/11\/Fair-Store-le-baron-jenney-4381720500_8c635b2c9e_b.jpg?resize=1024%2C782\" alt=\"\" width=\"1024\" height=\"782\" srcset=\"https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/teoriadeconstruccion.net\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/11\/Fair-Store-le-baron-jenney-4381720500_8c635b2c9e_b.jpg?w=1024&amp;ssl=1 1024w, https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/teoriadeconstruccion.net\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/11\/Fair-Store-le-baron-jenney-4381720500_8c635b2c9e_b.jpg?resize=768%2C587&amp;ssl=1 768w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 1024px) 100vw, 1024px\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Como contrapunto a la obra anterior, este edificio proyectado por Le Baron Jenney disimula su estructura met\u00e1lica, tambi\u00e9n roblonada. con una fachada de piedra, donde incluso se mantiene un orden cl\u00e1sico.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Cubierta de la Catedral de Chartres (1836)<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><img data-recalc-dims=\"1\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-68626\" src=\"https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/teoriadeconstruccion.net\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/11\/Chartres_Cathedral_Cast_iron_roof_completed_in_1841.jpg?resize=800%2C513\" alt=\"\" width=\"800\" height=\"513\" srcset=\"https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/teoriadeconstruccion.net\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/11\/Chartres_Cathedral_Cast_iron_roof_completed_in_1841.jpg?w=800&amp;ssl=1 800w, https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/teoriadeconstruccion.net\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/11\/Chartres_Cathedral_Cast_iron_roof_completed_in_1841.jpg?resize=768%2C492&amp;ssl=1 768w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 800px) 100vw, 800px\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Emile Martin utiliz\u00f3 fundici\u00f3n para los p\u00f3rticos curvos de la cubierta en arco, pero los tirantes en el\u00a0arranque eran de hierro forjado. La cubierta tiene una luz de 14,2 m con una altura libre de m\u00e1s de\u00a010 m desde la b\u00f3veda hasta el v\u00e9rtice.\u00a0 La fabricaci\u00f3n, el transporte y el montaje duran seis meses, en esto est\u00e1 la gran ventaja de la <a href=\"https:\/\/www.caldemeca.com\/\">calderer\u00eda industrial<\/a>, la rapidez de ejecuci\u00f3n y el montaje de piezas previamente realizadas en taller. El armaz\u00f3n tiene el aspecto de un casco de barco\u00a0invertido. La fuerte inclinaci\u00f3n de los pares* recuerda a los arcos mitrales del g\u00f3tico.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Edificio Woolworth (1913)<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><img data-recalc-dims=\"1\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-68627\" src=\"https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/teoriadeconstruccion.net\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/11\/edificio-woolworth-teoria-de-construccion-10564u.jpg?resize=800%2C559\" alt=\"\" width=\"800\" height=\"559\" srcset=\"https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/teoriadeconstruccion.net\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/11\/edificio-woolworth-teoria-de-construccion-10564u.jpg?w=800&amp;ssl=1 800w, https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/teoriadeconstruccion.net\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/11\/edificio-woolworth-teoria-de-construccion-10564u.jpg?resize=768%2C537&amp;ssl=1 768w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 800px) 100vw, 800px\" \/><\/p>\n<p>52 plantas en 1913!
