Gracias al hecho de que se absorbe menos humedad que en tratamientos de alta presi\u00f3n, la madera se seca m\u00e1s r\u00e1pido y las dimensiones originales se conservan mejor. Es adem\u00e1s fungicida e insecticida y por tanto protege a la madera de ataques xil\u00f3fagos y hongos.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li class=\"bodytext\">repele el agua<\/li>\n<li class=\"bodytext\">mejora la estabilidad dimensional de las piezas<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p class=\"bodytext\">Pero no es un protector absoluto ni permanente; por ejemplo,\u00a0la madera tratada con VACSOL Aqua solo debe utilizarse encima de la capa hidr\u00f3fuga de cualquier edificio. Si se utiliza en aplicaciones exteriores debe tener, adem\u00e1s, un revestimiento protector bien conservado &#8211; en Clases de uso 1, 2 y 3 Revestido (EN 335).<\/p>\n<p class=\"bodytext\">La inmersi\u00f3n de este producto en la madera se realiza en una planta de autoclave mediante elproceso VAC-VAC, bajo las condiciones controladas de doble vac\u00edo\/con presi\u00f3n baja.\u00a0La retenci\u00f3n y penetraci\u00f3n del protector en la zona tratada est\u00e1 determinada por la clase de riesgo en la que la madera tratada se usar\u00e1 y seg\u00fan las normas nacionales e internacionales.<\/p>\n<p class=\"bodytext\">La\u00a0formulaci\u00f3n del compuesto\u00a0se cuida desde\u00a0el punto de vista medioambiental\u00a0no incluyendo\u00a0metales pesados ni\u00a0lindano.\u00a0El lindano es un insecticida organoclorado, relativamente vol\u00e1til y persistente. Por su estabilidad qu\u00edmica y su gran afinidad con las grasas, se acumula en los tejidos ricos en ellas. Puede migrar a largas distancias a trav\u00e9s del aire en forma de vapores o adherido a las part\u00edculas del suelo o sedimentos.
