Hoy en d\u00eda es posible encontrar empresas como <a href=\"https:\/\/cristalium.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Cristalium<\/a> que se encargan de fabricarlos y enviarlos.  El vidrio electrocr\u00f3mico es un material que pertenece a la gama de los vidrios inteligentes, conjuntamente con el vidrio fotocr\u00f3mico, que se oscurece cuando recibe una luz intensa; el termocr\u00f3mico, que se oscurece cuando la temperatura aumenta y se aclara cuando disminuye. Esta luz es tamizada gracias a una l\u00e1mina electrocr\u00f3mica inserida entre dos vidrios (en vidrio laminado siempre). A esta l\u00e1mina se le aplica una corriente el\u00e9ctrica que produce su oscurecimiento, pero al invertir el proceso se recupera la transparencia. Su mecanismo permite regular el grado de oscuridad hasta el nivel deseado.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image\"><a href=\"http:\/\/teoriadeconstruccion.net\/video\/?p=56\"><img data-recalc-dims=\"1\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"448\" height=\"294\" src=\"https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/teoriadeconstruccion.net\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/05\/vidrio-electrocromico.png?resize=448%2C294\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-1931\" title=\"vidrio electrocromico\" srcset=\"https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/teoriadeconstruccion.net\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/05\/vidrio-electrocromico.png?w=448&amp;ssl=1 448w, https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/teoriadeconstruccion.net\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/05\/vidrio-electrocromico.png?resize=300%2C196&amp;ssl=1 300w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 448px) 100vw, 448px\" \/><\/a><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000;\">A principio de los a\u00f1os 1990 Michael Gr\u00e4tzel y Donald Fitzmaurice descubrieron la reacci\u00f3n de materiales electrocr\u00f3micos org\u00e1nicos que hacen m\u00e1s r\u00e1pida la coloraci\u00f3n con otros materiales electrocr\u00f3mico<\/span>. En 1999 se observ\u00f3 que el vidrio electrocr\u00f3mico no es reflectante y que tiene una excelente claridad \u00f3ptica ya que en \u00e9l no hay manchas, agujeros e irregularidades. El <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/cristalium.com\/cristal-inteligente\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">vidrio electrocromico o cristal inteligente<\/a> es un material que empieza a ser popular en zonas donde la privacidad es importante como despachos<\/strong>, <strong>oficinas o en la ventana del ba\u00f1o<\/strong>, dando la posibilidad de ocultaci\u00f3n en el momento que se necesita. Cuando est\u00e1 oscurecido el color es uniforme y el cambio de transparente a tintado se produce de manera suave, gradual y coordinada en grupos de ventanas. Tiene un tinte muy ligero de color amarillo cuando est\u00e1 en estado de transparencia m\u00e1xima.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Son empleados para ventanas, lucernarios, paneles divisorios. Estos vidrios permiten regular la cantidad de calor y de luz que pasa hacia el interior y permite reducir el gasto energ\u00e9tico. Tambi\u00e9n posibilitan que los vidrios queden a la vista, sin necesidad de utilizar persianas. Dentro de los distintos <a href=\"https:\/\/cristalium.com\/puertas-cristal\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\"><strong>tipos de cristales para puertas de interior <\/strong><\/a>que pueden instalarse en una casa, el cristal inteligente es perfecto por su capacidad de adaptaci\u00f3n tanto para zonas de trabajo como despachos personales en casa, cocinas&#8230;etc<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Propiedades del vidrio electrocr\u00f3mico<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>El vidrio es transparente en cualquier configuraci\u00f3n, sin ninguna bruma.<\/li><li>Para su funcionamiento, se requiere \u00fanicamente corriente +\/- 1.5V DC. El consumo de energ\u00eda es tambi\u00e9n muy bajo: &lt;0.1Wh\/ciclo\/m2<\/li><li>El dise\u00f1o est\u00e1ndar consta de dos l\u00e1minas de vidro con un espesor de 2,1 mm y un pl\u00e1stico intercalado, resultando as\u00ed un espesor de vidrio total de 5,8 mm y un peso total de 16 kg por metro cuadrado de vidrio.<\/li><li>Dependiendo del tama\u00f1o del vidrio, puede obtenerse un cambio total en la transmisi\u00f3n de luz, al cabo de 30-60 segundos.
