En este art\u00edculo puedes encontrar las claves sobre qu\u00e9 es un <a href=\"https:\/\/www.teais.es\/es\/producto\/40780\/indicador-de-carbonatacion-en-hormigones-teais-carbotest\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">indicador de carbonataci\u00f3n<\/a>, como por ejemplo el<a href=\"https:\/\/www.teais.es\/es\/producto\/40780\/indicador-de-carbonatacion-en-hormigones-teais-carbotest\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\"> carbotest de Teais<\/a>. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>La carbonataci\u00f3n puede inclusive causar problemas de corrosi\u00f3n aun en hormigones de alta calidad. Un recubrimiento de poco espesor y defectos de superficie tales como grietas, roturas, fallas, facilitan el ingreso del CO2. No pasar\u00e1 mucho tiempo antes de que el acero en el \u00e1rea de la grieta empiece a corroerse debido a la p\u00e9rdida de pasivaci\u00f3n.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Los bordes del recubrimiento de hormig\u00f3n son notables por su susceptibilidad a la corrosi\u00f3n inducida por carbonataci\u00f3n. Los bordes o las esquinas presentan un mayor contenido en di\u00f3xido de carbono que se difunde hacia el acero de refuerzo en dos direcciones, ver la siguiente fotograf\u00eda de una probeta a la que se le ha realizado la prueba de la fenolftale\u00edna.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full\"><a href=\"https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/teoriadeconstruccion.net\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/05\/image.png?ssl=1\"><img data-recalc-dims=\"1\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"621\" height=\"463\" src=\"https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/teoriadeconstruccion.net\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/05\/image.png?resize=621%2C463&#038;ssl=1\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-73441\" srcset=\"https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/teoriadeconstruccion.net\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/05\/image.png?w=621&amp;ssl=1 621w, https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/teoriadeconstruccion.net\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/05\/image.png?resize=300%2C224&amp;ssl=1 300w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 621px) 100vw, 621px\" \/><\/a><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-center\">prueba realizada sobre un pilar &#8211; fuente Flu-or Arquitectura<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>La <strong>soluci\u00f3n de fenolftaleina al 1%<\/strong> es una prueba general que se le hace al hormig\u00f3n para saber si est\u00e1 carbonatado. La fenolftaleina es un indicador de alcalinidad. Al aplicarlo con un spray o con pincel, el hormig\u00f3n que protege a las armaduras toma una coloraci\u00f3n rosa, en caso contrario el hormig\u00f3n no toma color alguno. Con esta prueba se determina si el Ph del hormig\u00f3n a descendido y ya no protege las armaduras de acero.<br>Pero hay que se\u00f1alar que es una prueba de carbonataci\u00f3n, y que no detecta cemento aluminoso.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><em>*La carbonataci\u00f3n es un proceso lento que ocurre en el hormig\u00f3n, donde la cal apagada (hidr\u00f3xido c\u00e1lcico) del cemento reacciona con el di\u00f3xido de carbono del aire formando carbonato c\u00e1lcico. Esta reacci\u00f3n, necesariamente se produce en medio acuoso, ya que el di\u00f3xido de carbono reacciona con el agua formando \u00e1cido carbonico, ya que \u00e9ste reaccionar\u00e1 con el hidr\u00f3xido de calcio, obteniendo como resultado el carbonato de calcio y agua.
