Se produce entonces la evaporaci\u00f3n natural, el agua absorbe el calor enfriando y humidificando el aire. Es el resultado del proceso por el cual, el agua cambia de estado l\u00edquido a gaseoso, y directamente, o a trav\u00e9s de las plantas, vuelve a la atm\u00f3sfera en forma de vapor.<\/p>\n<p align=\"justify\">La unidad m\u00e1s usual para expresar las p\u00e9rdidas por evapotranspiraci\u00f3n es, el <strong>mm de altura de agua<\/strong>, lo que equivale a 10 m<sup>3<\/sup>\/Ha. La medida siempre se refiere a un determinado intervalo de tiempo.<\/p>\n<p align=\"justify\"><img data-recalc-dims=\"1\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone\" src=\"http:\/\/cobertia.files.wordpress.com\/2010\/11\/000-3.jpg?resize=415%2C246\" alt=\"\" width=\"415\" height=\"246\" \/><\/p>\n<p align=\"justify\">En el sistema del aire acondicionado vegetal el aire se recircula a trav\u00e9s de un jard\u00edn vertical lo que provoca en las plantas una gran evapotranspiraci\u00f3n, ya que necesitan enfriarse a si mismas.<\/p>\n<p>Los climatizadores tipo Breezair utilizan este m\u00e9todo de de humidificaci\u00f3n. Los climatizadores contienen grandes almohadillas de filtro que durante el ciclo de enfriamiento permanecen mojadas por el sistema de distribuci\u00f3n de agua. Se hace pasar el aire caliente del exterior, impulsado por un ventilador centr\u00edfugo, a trav\u00e9s de las almohadillas y se enfr\u00eda por la evaporaci\u00f3n. Cuanto m\u00e1s caliente y seco sea el aire, el agua se evapora m\u00e1s r\u00e1pido y el aire se enfr\u00eda m\u00e1s.<\/p>\n<p>Suponen un elevado ahorro de energ\u00eda al usar un 80 % menos que la electricidad consumida por los sistemas refrigerados de capacidad similar, lo que se refleja tambi\u00e9n en el coste.
